Solid 14 Kt.Yellow Gold Ring inlaid with 100% NATURAL Solid GEM GRADE Opal.
This SOLID Opal is 100% natural gem Grade Crystal Opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia.

These opals are not doublets or triplets

The ring itself weighs 3.7 grams and is 5 mm across on the top deck. 
The band of this ring is solid 14 kt yellow gold. 
The pockets that hold the Opal are 2.5 mm deep. 
There are 3 Opals on the top deck, each measuring 6 x 4 x 2.5 mm.
The Opals match the contour of the ring in a cabochon fashion.
 
Weight of the Opal combined is : 1.3 carats. 
COLOR :     Mostly Red and gold with some blue and yellow 
PATTERN :        confetti
QUALITY: Flawless 
BRIGHTNESS:   5 

Brightness on this chart is rated as a one through five number system . 
1 Opal has color but is fairly dull 
2 Opal has fair color but nothing special 
3 Opal has good color at arms length  
4 Opal is bright  and color is crisp and sharp at arms length. 
5 Opal is brilliant , color jumps out of the stone at you at arms length .


Ring size is: US Size 6 1/2  , British & Australian size M 1/2.
Ring can not be resized,although I can bring it up to a  size 7 or N 1/2. 
This is done by sanding a small amount of gold from the inside of the ring.
